Elder Ring: Scalper sell codes on eBay

For the first time, Elder Ring was announced at the E3 2019, but then it became silent for the project. Nonetheless, the hype was great for the upcoming Open World Game of FromSoftware — so it was awarded the game awards as one of the longest anticipated coming games.

There is no surprise that many are curious to see what the game has to offer — and a few fans had even lucked and received a code for a closed test from 12 to 14 November. Some people who have signed up for the test and have received one of the strictly limited codes, however, do not have to play the game — They sell the codes illegally on eBay instead.

In the US, you go for up to $250 away and even in Germany you are worth a few 100 euros.

Banzai NAMC draws consequences

Of course, developer Banzai NAMC has already got wind from it and has to initiate legal steps. Finally, it is anchored in the terms of use that it is forbidden to resell the codes.

We strongly recommend that you look for illegal sales and purchases of these codes, especially since Elder Ring will be published in February 2022. So it is quite possible that previously open tests will take place to obtain as much feedback of the players as possible.

Elder Ring appears on 25 February 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
